Without your continued support we would be unable to accomplish the many projects and events that our club under takes in both Midland and Penetanguishene.

The members of the Midland Civitan club would like to thank all those who helped make our 2025 Santa Claus parade a success. Thanks to all of the community groups , businesses, and individuals who took part by entering floats , costumed characters , costumed pets , and marching groups. The music, colourful floats, enthusiastic participants and nice weather made for a great parade. Special thanks to the town of Midland Operations Dept., and the OPP for their help with temporary road closures and traffic control during the event. Also a thank you to our tv announcers , judges , and Nicole Major for all of her assistance.

The following entries were chosen as trophy winners by our judges.
1st place: Mundy's Bay school for Gingerbread Land
2nd place: St. Theresa's high school for their Academy of Funk Christmas music
3rd place: Midland Royal Canadian legion for their Victory Train. The President's Choice was the Georgian Bay dream team's Island of Magic featuring Lilo and Stitch.
The best musical entry was presented to the RCL Pipes and Drums and Best Costumes went to Tails and Trails for How The Grinch stole the TNT bus.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone. Most importantly thanks to the thousands of enthusiastic spectators who came out to watch our 49th Midland Civitan Santa Claus parade. Next year’s parade will be extra special due to it being a milestone 50th annual parade.
